Exhausts

Do the 2 exhuast pipes of the 300 need to have a join in them? What is the purpose of this, and what would happen if you did not have this join and run to complete seperate pipes from turbo to tip.

Ok this cross section is called a "H" pipe. It lets the motor exaust flow evenly. This is a dyno proven design. Although most after market pipes dont have an h pipe you wont know the difference due to the upgrade in pipe size.
