crazy squeek that needs to go.

ok it sounds like its coming from the front right side...or in the front in general, i have no clue what it is...but its making me crazy. its this like rattl squeek sorta thing and its from road vibration and bumps. does anyone know what this could be? i thought it was my crappy shocks when it first started, but those have been replaced with kyb gr-2's and that annoying squeek is still there.

It is probably your hood. When you pop the hood there is one black rubber thingy in each front corner. Twist it counterclockwise so that it comes out a little more. That way the hood can rest on it.

I had a squeeky problem like that and it turned out to be my bumper, it had come a tiny bit loose and was rubbing against the body

Yeah, these cars react to temp changes all the time. I have been having a problem keeping the hood bumpers to stay up. After every 100 miles I'll hear that sound and look under the hood, and sure enough, the bumpers found their way down again. It is really getting me mad. My n/a does the same thing, but it takes a year to do it.

Huh....I've been getting the same noise it would seem every once in a while on the way home from work. Usually right as I'm rolling in to teh last 2 miles from the house I get this crazy creaking noice like my car is suddenly built of old wodden bridge parts. Comes from the left front right behind the windshield so it would seem to be the same hood bumpers yall are talking about. I'll check em

At any rate it isn't the suspension, I've check that.
