Clutch problems??
I have a 93 300zx non-turbo, 140k miles when I try to start it in the morning the car trys to lunge forward even though the clutch is pressed to the floor. I have to force the shifter out of gear to start it and it is very tough to put it in gear . Once I get going it is OK to shift gears. Any ideas what would cause this problem?? Thanks!!!
Re: Clutch problems??
Well, if I know right all the 300zx's have hydraulic clutch system like my 1990 300zx and 1980 spitfire. It sounds to me like you need to have the system bleeded. Have not had the problem with my Z but have with my spitfire. If air gets in the system some how (bad seals in the master or slave cylinders, loose fittings), then it will act like that because there is not good pressure. No completely sure, you might just check it though.
