Clutch problems??

Well, if I know right all the 300zx's have hydraulic clutch system like my 1990 300zx and 1980 spitfire. It sounds to me like you need to have the system bleeded. Have not had the problem with my Z but have with my spitfire. If air gets in the system some how (bad seals in the master or slave cylinders, loose fittings), then it will act like that because there is not good pressure. No completely sure, you might just check it though.

yeah hes right i had that problem on my 81 280zx my master cylinder was leeking so i replaced it and its good now....check your oil n stuff and see how it is...
