Center Bearing
What are some of the symptoms of needing to replace this part? I've read that due to the weight of the driveshaft, it can wear out between 70k and 80K miles. My Z is at 72K and I'm experiencing some different vibrations than before.
Re: Center Bearing
Vibrations from the center of the car.. It's not very expensive and easy to change out.. You'll have to drop your exhaust though.. Just make sure to line your driveshaft backup correctly.. Have a paint marker handy..

Re: Center Bearing
you can feel it in your drivers seat, around your 'buttocks', at speeds of 45ish and 60ish MPH's,
i strongly believe in the saying "if broken, upgrade" and this would be the perfect time to get a one piece aluminum driver shaft, and get read of that center bearing.

it pretty much acts just like the pulley. its only one piece, so you dont have to worry about the center bearing anymore, and less chance of vibrations. they weight less so the engine doesnt have to work as much, hince less HP losted to the crank.
