Back to Z1 for Plenum Pull

Got my car from Z1 two weeks ago after a coolant leak required the transmission be pulled. I should have had them pull the plenum as well and do the coolant bypass so I wouldn't have to worry about it. But... I was stupid...

I printed the instructions from tt.net to do the plenum pull myself but just think it is more than I want to get in to. I guess I'll have Z1 do the 120k service while they have it this time...

I was so pissed off that I *almost* went car shopping... that Charger R/T was calling my name!

From a TT Z to a Dodge Charger R/T? You should be ashamed.

But once the EGR and coolant lines are eliminated, it's pretty simple to do.

I said *almost*

I have the blues this week over my Z... sure, it's a high mileage car (130k) but it's a NISSAN! It's supposed to be bullet-proof dammit! I don't mind spending money on routine maintenance and modest upgrades, but this $1,500 per month in repair bills is killing me.

Do this once a month:

Go to the drag strip
Bet Charger R/T owner $1500 on a race
drive the TT to Z1 and give them the $1500 to fix whatever it is that broke during the race
