AshSPEC MASSIVE IC install complete...finally!!!

Well, I gave it another shot today. In case you have no idea what I am talking about, go HERE. Anyway, I managed to get them installed today with the help of a friend. It took us a full 5 hours to do it though.

We ran into a few snags that took us a while to work out. My driver's side (RHD) went on fairly smooth. it was my passenger side that was a pain. My carbon canister and my reservoir were in the way. We wound up leaving the reservoir loose with only 2 of the 3 bolts on. As for the carbon canister, we took the mounting bracket off and shoved it as far back as it could go. It is squished between the IC and the reservoir right now and is sort of hanging there. We barely got the IC in even with all that. With the turn signals, I just made one of the grooves bigger and flipped the install of the bulb upside down. That made the side piece with the wire sticking out fo it face up instead of down. That alone gave us the extra clearance to put the turn signals back on. It sucked and I hope to never do it again. It was a simple job that turned sour.

At least I can feel a difference in my performance. I wasn't expecting much but it is a noticable difference even on a Stage III. Here are a few pics. I forgot to take a shot of the front with them installed.

nice, I do believe there are a few writeups on relocation of the carbon canister if you want to get that out of the way.
