Can someone tell me of an alternator belt size that can be used that will actually go on without a major hassle. The ones listed in the part store are extremely hard to put on. I cant even bump it on with the starter.

Hurm, did you loosen the alternator from it's brackets to allow belt slack?

 

Yes, had all alternator bolts near off it swings until it hits the block but I still cant get that belt on.
