I have a miss at low RPM's, someone mentioned a bad valve could be causing the problem. I thought it could be a bad coil on the #1 cylinder so i replaced it and there is still a miss, but not quite as bad. Also it smells like it's running kind of rich. Someone please shine some light on this subject for me.

 

test the resistance of the injectors, they should be 10-14 ohms... I'd be willing to bet it's a bad injector (90-93 injectors are problematic)

 

Big 2nd on that....Zlover beat me to it....he's totally right, I bet it's a faulty injector.

thanks for the help guys. it was a bad connection to the TPS. It's sad how something so small can make a car run so bad. i have no idea how i overlooked that, but so did the nissan dealership.

honestly, the Z32 is too complex for even a Nissan dealership to normally figure out. In the future I'd suggest you take the car to someone who won't charge you so much to use their very limited knowledge.

 

Injectors are known to do funny things in the z32. I had to replace 3 of mine like a month ago and it cost me 1240 dollars... YAh i know but it was worth having the Z run better. God I love my car

 

I really hope you had more work done than just having 3 injectors replaced; otherwise you got raped.

1240 !!!!! That's insane. Hopefully you'll hang out here more and learn how to do thing yourself so you won't have to get bent over too many more times like that.
