80k repairs
I recently purchased a 1993 300zx NA with 80000 miles on it. The previous owners took perfect care of it, but I am not sure if they took it in to the dealership for routine matinance. Is there anything I should specifically look into replacing at 80000, to ensure this cars longevity? Also is there anything specific I should do to keep it in good shape, besides the regular oil changes, and not flooring it TO much =). thanks for your help.

Re: 80k repairs
find out when the timing belt was changed, it should have been changed close to 60k miles, it will say on the timing belt cover. if not, you NEED to have this replaced. otherwise the next service for your car is not due until 95k miles!
as for anything specific, you cannot hurt the NA engine..ever..its bullet proof. and the TT's just make sure to cool down the turbo's, you can buy a Turbo Timer from strictylz.com, just email them, pretty cheap!
to be safe, change oil every 3k miles.

Re: 80k repairs
I recently bought a 93 NA with 89,000. The timing belt on mine was never replaced. After reading all the post here I began to get worried, so I contacted dealers and local shops about doing the timing belt. What I found out was that the timing belt on the 93 and newer cars does not need to be done until 105,000. This is in the cars manual and it was confirmed to me by two dealers. Also confirmed by the fact that pathfinders of the same year have their belts replaced at 105,000 (same engine).
