300zx steering

Hello, I'm thinking about buying a 300zx and have researched it for a while. Was looking at Wikipedia and it said that the 94 model got an electric steering system upgrade, I myself am addicted to real feel in steering so I was wondering if any of you have felt the difference in for example the 93 to 94 models.
Also does the 4 wheel steering system eliminate itself at high speeds? I do not like this system because i like independant handling and the idea of fully controlling a drift.

Thanks for all help.

Regards

It's actually only the HICAS (rear wheel steering) that was changed to electrically controlled. That system is meant to aid turning at higher speeds, I don't think it even actuates below highway speeds. Good thing about the 94+ HICAS is it's apparently a lot easier to deal with/get rid of.
