300ZX NA Build Up
I am currently in the search of aquiring a 300zx NA and would like to pose some questions. I am selling my 570 Horse 73 Vert mustang to chase my dream of owning a Z-32 Z. Does anyone know if it is possible to get 320 to 350 hp out of an NA with the ability to get 450 hp on NOS? Please let me know...
Also, What should I watch out for when looking at potential z's??

This has been answered many times, while it is possible it's all about how much money do you want to spend.
I would personally look for a twin turbo, it's so much easier to get that much power out of it with a few mods.

it will be WAY more effecient to just buy a TT and start off with 300hp and get intake for 100bucks and already have 320hp.
the most you can really get is 280-290 hp from a NA, and thats with alot of money put into it. you will be spending way more money if you try doing that on a NA (i know from my car, person experience)

go to www.sgpracing.com they have an upgrade chart for NA and i believe they can get you to about 430hp, thats with out adding a turbo so if you add a turbo, you could possibly get to 500 or maybe 530 hp, but just like the other guy said, it is going to cost you. I myself have a 93 NA but I am thinking of investing the money to upgrade to about 430hp just to have an automatic NA to shock the competition. Can u believe the look on the face of the person driving a V8 vette.

Well,
I would for one not trust SGP, I have heard good things from them *BUT* I have also heard some real horror stories. I was not personally there for any of these but, myself I would not take my car to a shop for performance work unless they had 0 complaints.
