Ok few more questions?? I don have enough money to get new injectors so im getting them used......now the questions
1. How can check if the injectors are good if they are not on the engine...
2. what other car injectors fit the n/a 300zx
I heard that maxima injectors fit the z.... if so what year maxima

honestly you shouldn't mess with used injectors to save money you can get the reman oem ones from like kragen they're like 70 each

if but i think your problem is the knock sensors. You said your timing went way advanced could it of been retarded? The computer would retard the timing if it senced detonation. I dont own a z but i know our engines are similar i have a q45 with vh45, they share alot of the same parts (injectors knock sensors some other sensors and stuff too) my q was doing the same thing yours sounds like, and it was the knock sensors.

I just want to put my 2 cents in and say this I have a 1990 300zx and went through the same dance changing things and without the help of code reading found that with my car stuttering on take off idling to about 2000 (2) rpms when sitting and not feeling as powerful as it should was one little coolant temp sensor. Its so amazing that just that one could make my car so erratic lol. I know you already figured this out but once again my 2 cents lol

Not sure to be honest. I am really bad at dates and after searching through thousands of posts for one thing I figured if someone else comes by they might be able to attain the information that isnt so direct. So I apologize.
