Z32 winter tires

Hello Chaps.
I have a 1991 300ZX TT. I have purchased 4 Non-TT wheels to run some winter tires this season.

The options for dedicated snow tires I have received from Tire Rack are these sizes:

225/50/16 or 205/55/16

I have read in a previous forum that someone was running 215/60/16 all around, but I am unsure if that would actually work with a total diameter if 26.3, would it clear the front struts.

Hoping someone has already gone through this and may be able to share what sizes they have tried to broaden my choices in winter tires this season.

And remember, who ever helps me with this decision I am positive once I install them there will be no snow for the Midwestern States.

Thanks.
