I was able to find the a much better price on auto insurance through American Express by way of Costco. Try it. You can generate a quote online. Definitely carry full coverage. Iwas in a very minor accident. I hit someone doing about 20 MPH over 4 years ago. I drove the car home. Insurance paid over $7k to fix it, but it was only cosmetic. It is a very expensive to repair.

I have no insurance on it now since it's parked for the winter. Normally though, full coverage.

Insurance

I have full coverage with $1,000 deductable it drops the rate a lot.
I have a 93' 300zx Convertible (needs paint). Carry full coverage on all my cars with the $1000 deduct. 50 and clear record.

I just switched my insurance to Allstate. I have full coverage. 250 comp/500 collision. Reduced mileage. $707 every 6 months. I don't recommend Mercury or Progressive insurance, if anyone has them. A nightmare to deal with, plus they'll use non-Nissan parts to save $. I haven't had direct dealings with them, but friends of mine have and they weren't happy. I'd stick with 1 of the big 4 (AAA, Allstate, Farmers, State Farm.) There's a lot to be said about local coverage.

Full Coverage

Mine runs $365 every 6 with the $1,000 deduct on 300, I think about $289 or so on the 95' 240. I have Farmers, local rep and a good friend. Both are paid for but will continue with full coverage.
A member of our club ZCAAR just lost his 300TT, got out running to fast, no insurance, lost it passenger has broken ankle 3 places, he has cuts and scrapes, car partialy burned. Had it in storage for winter and decided to go for a spin. He is 19. Always keep up your insurance.
