Z1Motorsports.com
ImportPartsPro.com
UltimateZ.com
SPLParts.com
SpecialtyZ.com
(if I didn't list a well-known vendor, it most likely means I had a bad experience with them)

The ones I've listed have only given 100% positive experiences (SPL and Z1 especially were impressive, as the parts I ordered arrived several days ahead of promised).

And by the way, to save all the typing for the URL, you can just do czp.us

i kind of figured something had gone wrong since you didnt list him. but i have had no problems with him, and have heard very few problems involving others, so i wanted to add it.

ive been questioning buying from Z1, since a few people here have had some difficulties with them in the past. but i have bought from less reputable companies and never had any problems.

I've heard the horror stories about Z1, but with me they've only underpromised and overdelivered.

I ordered my Wiseco pistons from them - they said they didn't have them in stock and therefore I wouldn't get them until the following week. I was obviously disappointed since I wanted to work on my car that weekend, but if there's nothing I could do then there's nothing I can do. Well, Friday rolled around... and so did my Wiseco pistons.

I agree with Zlover on SPL...their service and products have been top notch every time. I was very pleased with Specialty Z. Z1 has been good for me as well, but not great. I received a faulty ecu form them; which was somewhat difficult to diagnose since it was installed at the same time as many other things. I have some good experiences with Stillen, but a couple bad ones also.

Stillen makes VERY FEW of their own parts. Most of their stuff is just purchased from other companies and badged as "Stillen." And they tend to be overpriced as well ($130 for some wires in a grounding kit???). Their ECU is a JWT ECU. Their intake is K&N. Their intercoolers are Bell (IIRC), with their own designed endtanks welded on. Their turbos are JWT series (IIRC). Their brake pads are Axxis (IIRC). Their rebuilt engines are actually rebuilt by ATK. Their flywheels are JWT (which are Fidanza). etc etc etc.

But they do only use quality parts, for the most part. I'd have no reservations about having all Stillen parts on my car, if they weren't commonly twice as expensive as other brands of equal or better quality.

You could always check eBay, they have a ton of low cost performance parts.

Nothing for the Z I hope.....

I've bought quite a few things off e-bay, but no performance parts. The most recent item was an automatic litterbox for our cats. It works great.....but I'd never put it on the car.

It'd probably work better than some of the "performance" parts for sale on eBay.

I'm sure you're right. It'd probably work better than hydro power also.

The only thing I've ever purchased off eBay and actually installed it in my Z was a replacement fan shroud. Poor guy's Z got absolutely destroyed in a rear AND side collision and all he could salvage was the everything from about the center console forward. Got it for a steal too 17 bucks plus 20 for shipping!
