is that true that a stock tt z32 only runs a 15.0 in the quarter mile, that cant be possible at 300hp can it? an r32 vw has only 240 hp and weighs pretty much the same as a z32tt and that runs a mid 14 stock. please tell me its not true!

13.9 was the officially recorded time, but I remember reading about a guy on tt.net who was able to pull of a 13.6 with a stock TT. Considering the R&T drivers only drive the car for one day and, though they are probably great drivers, that means they really don't have time to "learn" the car. With a really healthy stock TT and a driver who knows how to drive the Z specifically, I think it's possible to do faster than 13.9.

i want my n/a to run a 13.9 lol stock, i wish. do you happen to know the n/a quarter. oh and i would deffinatley agree with you on that with the whole getting used to your car, i know this chick who ran a 16. flat with a stock civic ex i know it doesnt sound like much but those cars are averaged at i think mid 16s and it was just amazing to see her push that time out of that shitty car.

I remember reading

that the figures on the 300zx tt 1993-1995 models were 13.7. I beleive the R&T test was done on a 1990 model and they have since made improvements on fuel/air mapping and i think the newer models have a slightly stiffer spring rate over the old ones...then again...i used to drink a lot and most of what happend before 1999 is kinda blurry.
