titanium key?
hey there, just got my '91 300zx, but the only key it came with was some copy and not a factory one, I went to the nissan dealership here and they said that they stopped making the titanium keys like 3 years ago, does anyone know where I would be able to find one of these key's so I can get it cut for my car?, and not for like 800$ like some guy on yahoo was askin for a blank one?

thanks, actually came across that site earlier today but i wasnt sure whether or not it can be cut to use in a 300zx, like, say I do spend 100$ on a key, lol what an expensive key, would I be able to take it to like, lowes or someone to get them to cut it? or is that key unable to be used in a car and is just for a collector type thing?

I'm pretty sure that you could ask Kurt.
I'm almost certain though that you could have your current Nissan copy copied onto the Titanium one.
Kinda not worth it IMO, but it is a very personal decision.
www.courtesyparts.com had 300zx master blanks (just not titanium ones, although they had a NISMO one)

yeah, it is kinda not worth it, but still, 100$ is much better than what one guy on yahoo was askin for a blank one he had ($800!!!
) sheeesh, anywho, uhhh, well I ordered the normal 300zx key, the blackhead one with 300zx on the side I think, so that'll do I guess, I'll look into the titanium one from that site later probably, thanks

Try Courtesy Nissan: Courtesyparts.com. They can get just about everything. They just sent me the plastic tabs that hold the rear sun visor to the rear hatch. Stuipid little plastic hooks that I was convinced nobody would have.
You can also get a nissan 300zx blank key for $10, its not NISMO or titanium but still has style.

here are a few variations on the great and almighty key. The first is a Mercedes Benz-type flipkeycase ripoff. The second is the o.e.m. style with the 300zx in the key side. The third is a shiny blank with the Nissan logo on it. Isn't e-bay great?
