I would definitely do other mods first...nitrous should be your last mod...not your first.

i semi agree with emo but nitrous is a good mod for an N/A. it also depends on engine wear, most kits that are basic give safe sprays from like 25 45 and 75 hp i believe. while im sure you can do 75 no problem most people play it safe on the older cars and just do a 45 shot. but i would agree with emo int he fact of getting basic mods first like exhaust and intake and such.

nitrous is a good mod for NA's...but you're not going to see as good of results with just nitrous. the surge of exhaust gases from the bigger explosion is going to be choked up in that tiny stock exhaust..etc etc.

So I have to get full exhaust (headers, testpipes, etc...), intake, and dats it i could spray a 75 shot. My engine has 98,000 miles and mechanically is in perfect condition, no check engine light, the ecu flashes 55, it has no problems. how much power will i be looking at and what do you recomend to buy. thanx for the feedback.

i dont think u need to get that extensive on the exhauast but it will definatly help and y not, its more power. they say with nitrous like the 75 shot you can compete with stock TT's you know keep up with them. if you do quarter mile runs youll more than likely be in the low 14's and like horsepower wise, do the math. headers plus full exhaust and intake y not plus 20-30 hp on the 222 already plus 75 ur looking at 310 ish i guess you can say but its nota trubo so you know its not always engaged so your not gonna like go and beat TT's necessarily. but you also lose some of htat power through the drive train so at the wheels in the upward high 200's. but im not the nitrous expert here i just do a decent amount of research cuase im not putting it in my car...yet. i still want my new exhaust a jdm front end them nitrous so i got soem saving to do. and still more homework.

yeha all those hp's are just edumacated rough estimates im not like a human dyno lol.

A guy in our club had an NA that was able to keep up with my old stg 3 TT. It had a lot of headwork...full exhaust...all those type of bolt ons and nitrous...it was a fast NA. That's the build quality thta one should do IMO to build a good NA.
