5x7 was never an option... what site is that so I know to stay away from the idiots?

once you take the factory bose box outta there, you can pretty much put anything you want in there. Your only limitations are your imagination and space.
Factory non bose speaker brackets are 5.5-6".

Or you could buy a custom baffle to place in there.

Or you could custom build your own baffle and place whatever you wish. I think with some proper fabrication you could probably place up to an 8" midbass in the door. I went with a 6.5" midrange and a 6.5" midbass in each door, with a tweeter per door of course.
