k guys so i'm new to this forum as you can tell from my title.

Tomorrow i will be picking up a 92 300zxTT. salvage title though. T_T picking it up for about 3k though. only problem it supposed to have is that it has a leaking brake booster? brother said it sounds like a hissing sound from the brake booster. i'm assuming i need a new one? or could just be a hose came loose or leaking?

i've wanted this car since my first car i've ever bought so yeah. help?

i will once i go pick it up. getting it today! is there a way to tell if it has ABS? the engine was replaced as well i'm guessing part of the front end damage when it got the salvage title, But i'm guessing just look for the ABS light when i start the car? or did they all come wit ABS? napa was asking me if it was or wasn't. =P

well guys there she is. picked her up today. reg headlights don't work so any ideas? both don't work. and the light thing goes on when i push the brakes down. could it be because the spoiler isn't on with the thrid brake light?

it's salvage like i said and had the engine replaced. is there a site i can look up the engine vin and see how many miles the car it was in had before being transferred?

and...does anyone know how much it would cost to replace the airbag? apprently there's no airbag when it was redone, and the airbag light is blinking...

I wouldn't have touched that car with a 10ft pole.

All Z32s have ABS.

Brake light means you have a bulb out in your tail lights (the wrong bulbs can also cause this problem).

There is no way to know how many miles were on the car when the engine was transferred.

Headlights not working could mean anything from bulbs to fuses to wiring.

As for the airbag (and everything, really), take that car to a reputable shop.

What you can do? No offense, but considering the questions you've asked, I gather you're not too tech savvy...

most things i asked i have a pretty good idea, but it never hurts to double check right? only thing i'm not too sure of is the blinking airbag light. because i read up that the blinking airbag light is a common problem on miata's so i didn't know if it was the same of not. was checking one out one time a long time ago that's why.

and i also have my brother who i ask about it who is doing auto tech at school and has some ASE degree's. so i also question him. i'm learning. my major is tourism in school, but i love cars and i learn more as i go along. when i can't do it i ask, like i am doing, or i take it to my frens dad who is a mechanic and he teaches me how to do things i can't.

the headlights i got to work, but the switch between high beams and low beams seem to be tempermental. so i'm assuming some connection is a little bad if anything needs a little cleaning? won't be using my high beams too often so probably just leave it and switch to HID's.

but yeah i'll be taking it once i get some other small things in order. but so far thanks for the help. =)
