Hey guys i will be socketing the ECU myself.. after taking time in researching it doesnt sound so difficult.. however i am confused of what type of socket to use i've heard the machine type sockets tends to lose contact with the EPROM which pops out and are required only for persons who will keep on swapping EPROMS, however the wiper type sockets have alot of friction to the EPROM.

What do you all guys with socketed ECUs think?
