I've been searching for a 300zx for at least a year now and they have either been snatched up before I could get to them or they turn out to be pretty rough/asking wayyy too much.

I have always wanted a Manual LHD 1991 300zx TT (preferably 2+2). I would love that Wine Red but at this point I'm not overly picky as I will be slowly customizing it later...Something that's not overly ridiculous and in poor shape. Twin Turbo or NA? Not picky about that either although I have been wondering which route to go with? Is it better to upgrade the stock turbo's from a Twin Turbo 300zx or upgrade an NA to a Turbo charged beast?

Anyways I came across a LHD 1991 300zx TT for a pretty nice price. Definitely a lot cheaper than what most people are trying to sell them for in BC. Here's the link:

Aftermarket: The car has aftermarket dual exhaust, HID kit, Short Shift Kit, brand new injectors, freshly painted, and some stereo stuff.
The Bad: Cracked Windshield, and the drivers seat shows wear and tear. (I haven't received any pictures)

Now it was originally an automatic and had a Tranny swap (and possibly an engine swap?). The guy said it was installed by Morris at Canada Trans Engines. Just wondering if it's a safe route to go for?

You are very patient lasting a whole year! Though I don't have any experience with swaps/conversions, from what I've seen and read if you want TT, just get a TT from the start. Way less time and money and hassle to get to where you want to be in terms of the car's performance. As for the other stuff... no comment. Except the paint. What's the reason having it re-painted? It may have been in an accident which would be nice to know about before buying. Or maybe he just wanted to finish the job nicely, who knows.
