Reliability
Reliability
So basically over a trade I'm planning on getting a 1990 300zx TT. Car has 85k miles, mods are wideband, turbo timer, catback, and 550 injectors.
Are these actually reliable cars? I was trying to find some common problems, and I didn't really find anything that was that big of a deal. Anything I should look out for/ask about before I do the trade?

A lot of electronics, check out all the buttons and switches you can. Also ask about the HICAS (rear wheel steering) but if it's faulty it should show a dashboard light. Proof of maintenance would be a good one too, I think the major one (timing belt) is at 60k or 70k miles, so not too long ago.
Parts are a little more expensive, but with some creativity they can be cheap. Biggest thing is fuel pumps, injectors, vacuum leaks and turbos. Also be sure the ECU is tuned for oversize injectors. When you test drive it, be sure to start it cold.
