Hello All.

This year, when Spring finally rolls around, I want to put some nice 18" rims on my otherwise mint but completely stock black 91 2+2.

I wanted to see what others have for rims to get an idea of what it would look like.

I'm most interested in something similar to what the 350z comes with but not chrome. Something that will show more of the rotor and calipers... so if you don't mind, please upload a pic of what you have on your car.

What you paid would also be tremendously helpful.

I have got ADR Sterlings, they look good but they're abysmally heavy and suck. I got them for 500 bucks new all 4. someone had got them and decided they didn't want them so i got them. I want some new ones. someone is selling some used 350z wheels on 300zx club for 500 in san diego (says he won't ship but yo ucould talk him into it a bet) with a little rash on them.

Tony is selling some nismo wheels for 1500 + 100 shipping on 300zx club...

plus a lot of other wheels are for sale on 300zx club.

 

There seem to always be 350z's on the Ebay. I could go that route. What I really want are something very light and exotic looking. I still need to familiarize myself with what the dimensions mean (the 18" part is clear, but I don't quite now how the "by 8" or "by 8.5" affects performance.... or the offfset... not sure what looks best).

Rota has some nice wheels (Aftershock, Quake, WM7 Spoke) but I'm sure as I read earlier, they are expensive.

What I really need to see are some pics of Z's (preferably Black) with the different rims to see what looks best. I'll keep looking... I have about 75 days before mine comes out of its winter hibernation here in Connecticut.
