Mobil 1 best for the money.
Got money to blow? Royal purple or Red Line.

2nd. Anything fully synthetic. But once you go synthetic, you can't ever go back.

In the Z I use Mobil 1 syn 15/50. In my Chevy truck, I will use Mobil 1 syn 5/30, but I haven't gotten to the point of having to change the oil on it yet.

In a TT, I'd recommend 15/50. If it was an N/A, it'd be a toss up between 15/50 and 10/40.

3 quarts with filter, definitely not enough. Good reason to add an oil cooler and dual remote filters.

ive called some parts stores around here, and gotten a few answers: between three and four, three, four, 4.5, and one told me 3.2.

I got the 3 qts. from rizz' manual. I coulda sworn my manual says 3.4 qts.
I would definitely hope the TT takes more.

It does. The difference is likely the oil cooler and the cooler lines, along with the extra oil lines for the turbos. 3.4 seems like nothing. I'd definitely add an oil cooler to an N/A, just for greater oil capacity.
