OBD 1 MIL rewire
Does anyone know if i can Wire the OBD1 from the ECU to a small LED light to blink or turn on when the check engine light turns on? and to do the diagnostic test on it?
reason is because the TT motor is going in an 88 Z31, and i dont think i can use the check engine light from the dash and wire it. since its Different.
Has anyone tried to do this? Or does anyone know someone who did?
i checked out the ECU wiring diagram and found
that the MIL Lamp is #32, but then theres four DDL- Consult (CK, CL, RX, TX) Maybe the DDL has nothing to do with the light, but do you guys think if i Rewire the #32 wire on one end and run a Ground near the dash on the other end, I could have a working MIL?
