Newb with engine questions
I just bought a 95 Z N/A. I notice that when i slam on the gas on second gear, the engine doesnt respond. It takes a while to accelerate. It doesnt make any wierd noises, and the tranny isnt slipping. Its like I have to wait for the car to decide when its best to go fast!? Any suggestions? It almost feels like there is an acceleration limitation somewhere, its the rate of acceleration is consistent on all gears. Almost like a "speed remover" chip was installed.

Newb with engien questions
Its a manual. Well this weekend I had the family down and had my dad test drive it. After spanking the tranny with his driving the car runs TAAASSTTY. I think it just might have been a new clutch? Every once in a while, lets say im on a hill, and i try to accelerate, yeah its slow, but flat out it flies!
I would like to get it completely resolved though, any suggestions?

is there any hesistation or stumbling in the early rpms, and then it goes?
how is your idle?
id probably try using some seafoam to clean the engine out. search for it on here, and there is a thread with a writeup in it

it idles just fine, and the engine sounds great. It's more like the engine doesnt burn the gas at the rate it should. The rpms are dont spike or anything, its like
....floor it...........................................GO!!!

well if you are at 2000rpm in 1st and you shift to second and floor it...thats too low on rpm's....it will take a while...shift higher up.
