Those are pretty impressive, but I'm still thinking about buying the jdm ones. They just look too cool.

dude, no one will notice, thats SOOOO much money you can put to MUCH better use than friggin headlights.... i just dont see how ANY ONE can justify spending that money on headlights when you can make your own for a fraction of the cost and with minimal effort.

if he's set on spending his money let him.
it's not your money, it's his. let him spend it how he sees fit.
you've voiced your disagreement, now let it be.

The lights are so far down the road. I want to do some performamce/maintence mods and buy wheels and tires first.

I do think the JDM ones look cooler. I wish I had money. After reading some of the posts I'm thinking about going with the Jim Wolf ECU. It seems to be better than the Z1 ECU upgrade. I wanted a local performance shop to do my 60k, because the car is 17 years old, but It's a 2 month wait. I was considering taking it to my Local Nissan dealer. Any thoughts on that? The shop, Autobahn, has reputable mechanics. I also need to repaint the front bumper and have 3 dents pdr'd. The previous owners need to learn how to park a real car away from hazzards and not drive it from Penn to Mo. Enthusiasts my a$$.

might be in your best interest to "befriend" a mechanic either from a dealership or your shop of choice.

I've got a friend that has a pretty tricked out Z. He's pulled his engine out several times, and knows damn near everything about them. I brought him down to Springfield, Mo to inspect it before I bought it.
