I am a new 300zx owner. I recently purchased a 92 zx with 76,000 miles on it and as part of the deal i knew that when i got it the rod bearings needed to be changed. I myself am a pretty advanced mechanic and i was wondering how difficult this task is before i start on it.I've read that the whole motor has to be hoisted up to get to it and i'm hoping this is untrue but could someone give me some kind of input about the easiest way to drop the oil pan to get to the rod bearings.
