My New Whip!

alright so its decided. I will be for sure selling the S13 to get this beauty. I looked into it for a long time. and hell i fell in love with RHD cars its just beauty full. anyways after making a few calls looking at prices and so on. and a few months of searching arround this is waht I found. my dad spotted me the money for a down payment. (1,000) and when the car gets here to the US I will pay the rest of the amount in full. (Which I can;t expose) registration and legalization will not be a problem I already found and got my sources with a reliable and reputable person. so it's all good. I'm most likely going to pull a loan fromthe bank to do whatever maintenance will be necesary and see exacly what I will need to improve on it. but fromt he guy said all I really need are some better looking rims. he said the car is bone stock other a Yashio Factory exhaust, HKS intake, Intercoolers and Turbo timer. still boosting stock rims are prertty much what i see. stock eveirthing else.

here she is:
1991 Fairlady Z 300ZX twinturbo 2/2. 5MT. 78000km. Black color. AC, PS, PW, AW. One owner.

You had that thing imported? It's probably one of the most beautiful Z's I've ever seen. Looks extremely clean, but I haven't seen the interior yet. Only 10k?! Wow, you got a good deal. It's better if it's a 2+2! You get two more seats and it's easier on the insurance. By the way, have any of you ever seen a Z for sale in that original Midnight Purple paint scheme? I'd love to get my hands on one of those.

I have not got5ten it inmported allt he way yet. where still working out the deal. but yes I gave a down payment on it that beatufully thing is mine! =D its not the easiest process but the fact that I know alot of people is a good thing so its going to help me out. insurance is oging ot be sweet because since the car wont come up int heir system they will only be insuring me for the cost of the car (15K) sooooo yeay! your best et is research buddy.

and no I will not send you motor harness adn ECU i need them in thec ar so i can get teh asking price. w/o that I'll be lucky to get 3K

What do you mean it won't come up in their system? Explain. Do you think it's a better idea to buy a Z from Japan?

since the car is not a USDM car, auto insurance companies don;t know wha tto put it as, (family car, sports car, exotic, mnivan etc..) so they insure the value of the car. and ehhh getting a JDM car is up to someone's needs. I will now tell you that getting interior, suspension, and steering components is oging ot be a bitch, AC, wiring alll diferent. I'm in for the challenge because I am a very experiences NIssan owner not a Noob *cough cough* so if I where you get to know the car better then decide if u really want a Z from japan or not. i say first decide if u want the Z32 or the 3Kgt. then get to know the car and so on. adapt to working on it get to know the car from top to bottom, in and out , and so on. because I'll tell you right now. Shops will rape you to work on a RHD, and i doubt they will do the work right. more like half ***. so my advice would be get some experience first. then make the decision.

well he sent me 2 more pictures today, the interior looks clean just as expected from someone that looks like Miyagi. ha ha bone stock interior. well maintained. he also got me a picture of the rear end. and the Yashio factory exhaust looks a hell of alot almost identical to stillen (kind of a let down) so i'll just keep it (i was expecting a coffe can like the Yashio exhaust for the S13/14) she look smighty clean adn sexy though whoo! *cheers*

Well, can't blame you for calling me a n00b, because hell, I am. But, at least I'm enough of a hardass to not have bought any of the cars I've come across so far. I'm looking for the perfect one! Oh, and as to which car I want, I want both. Whichever one I come across that passes my standards, I'll take, whether it be the Z or the VR4. I like each of them for their separate qualities, but I'd really prefer a Z.
