My 92 TT Z is stalling under brakes?

Hi all can anyone help me out,my Z tends to stall under harsh braking,if the revs are kept up this doesnt happen.She has had some extensive work carried out on her.So far cant seem to pin point the problem,any suggestions?

Check you brake booster and vacuum lines for leaks.

I'm wondering if maybe it's electrical. The alternator maybe.
Harsh braking would engage the ABS system and therefore cause a huge demand for power from the electrical system. Revs being kept up=not stalling sounds like the alternator.
I know when my alternator was going bad, harsh braking would cause everything in the car to shut off momentarily when the power was required.
Just a thought.

I agree with Rizz. I just changed out my alternator last month. Braking dropped my revs causing to almost stall.

I had a similar issue, but it wasn't the alternator. It was the battery. Battery had gotten a bit weak in the knees and wasn't holding an adequate charge. It hasn't happened since I bought a new battery; which was 4 years ago. I had almost forgotten about that little gremlin. You're definitely on the right track with the charging and electrical system.
