Hey guys ... nice looking forum.
Spent a couple hours reading here to see if i could figure out my problem on my own ,but iv'e only found bits and peices here and there.
I have just recently purchased a 1990 2+2 non turbo 300zx from an older man who's had it since new. He's babied the car and hardly drove it.
Probabblly why it only has 98,000km on it.
And yes I live in Canada.
Ive had a couple things done to the car already that ive summed up to being routine: Brakes new front and back rotors calipers and pads.
New alternator and battery ...after that i figured it was safe to get a new stereo .
Now heres where my problem comes into play.
After the alternator was replaced my abs light hasnt turned off.
When im driving between 50mph and 110 mph is when the engine wants to stumble and feels as if Ive lost or im running on a dropped cylinder.
Also when i've started the engine it idles a little low.So I took it to a reccomended preformance shop
Diagonosis snap equipment was used to determine that I have a left bank injector prob .. now it didnt interface to which injector was faulty or giving me the issues. They told me that i might have to replace the injectors or make sure that I used high preformance clearner for them. They also let me know about the recall.
At this point i've run bng wagon master 44k injector cleaner through the system and so far i havent noticed any differances.
Hopefully someone has a better idea as to what it could be rather than taking it to anther shop.
Thanks in advance for any help and or advice guys .

if you have failing injectors, t hen they need to be replaced. replacing your fuel filter might not be a bad idea either before replacing injectors.

My fuel injectors arent something thats failing me at all times though.
Just at particular times. But you make a good point.
I was actually thinking its about time for its tune up .. new plugs and fuel filter.
When i had my oil change about 1000miles ago I had the air filters changed and oil filter done.

My n/a has 3 injectors that are out of resistance tolerance. But, they are still going strong. But, your problem sounds like it is injector related. It is one of the most common problems with these cars, though the clock that likes to say hi every couple of months is another. Go get the resistance checked on your injectors. It is a pain when they go, but if you can find a shop that can do any one of them individually without pulling anything else off, that is always good.
