Im going to look at some cyl heads, the guy says they are from a tt but i dont quite believe him. is there any way to tell them apart? are the chambers different or maybe numbers on the backs or something

 

TT heads will be stamped "40P" (or possibly "36P" if they're from a 95), NA heads are "30P" (or possibly "10P").

When you see the heads, and realize the stamping can only be in one place, you'll realize that's a dump question.

Furthermore, it's not like you're looking for a ring on a beach. The head has 6 sides... when you consider that it can't be on the top or bottom (for most obvious reasons), you'll see there are only 4 sides left to check.
