New to the site here, I've been on many other Z sites, hoping this one suits more of my needs and wants. Haha. I'll update more information later, just thought I'd say hello and share my day's experience.

Got off work at 8pm, was leaving the town I work in about 8:20, got pulled over by local pd, gave me a warning cause my exhaust was too loud. Sure I may have straight exhaust down the middle and got rid of those horribly huge and rather heavy mufflers the Z32 has, what of it? WA state law is rather vague on this matter, stating that; It is illegal to operate a motor vehicle which has a modified exhaust that creates an audible exhaust note louder than stock.

Ok, not exactly a direct translation from the R.C.W., but it doesn't list an actual db rating, nor does it say how loud. I know the officer was jealous of my Z, who wouldn't be? She's sexy, but profiling me and then trying to tell me my exhaust is loud when the law itself is a loophole? Shameful I told him I appreciated his warning and that he have a good night, and when he pulled off the highway exit I goosed it all the way onto the freeway, gave him a legit reason to pull me over
