Unlike most posts that I see, I seem to have an opposite problem. All of my normal lights seem to work. When I switch the Hi beams on, my headlights go out. My parking lights and tail lights all still work. Any ideas???

 

You need to be more elaborate with your post. When you say your "headlights go out," does that mean that when you activate your high-beams, there is no light coming from the entire headlamp assembly? Or do you mean that your low-beams turn off? Because the low-beams are supposed to turn off when the high-beams are activated.

If you mean that activating high-beams results in no light at all, I'd suggest replacing the bulbs.

 

agreed that you should check the bulbs first. the parking and tail lights are not affected by high vs low.
