Going to look at a 1993 tomorrow
Hey all,
Let me start by saying I am new to this forum - and the Z32 in general. I've done a few searches but am having trouble finding what I need. I was browsing craigslist for a pickup truck earlier today and came across a nice looking 93 Z32. I'm set to look at it tomorrow. It was originally a coupe that was upgraded by Zmotorsports in Georgia with some turbos (12k of work in receipts) last year. The car only has 60k miles on it and the seller is asking $6k. Seems like too good of a deal to be true. I know every car has it's list of problem area's. What should I be looking for when I go to look at this vehicle? Specific noises that indicate common issues? Specific leaks? How well do modified coupes do in the long run? Am I looking at a huge headache? The seller says its immaculate inside and out. I'm set to cover my ***. I wasn't in the market for a sports car - but hey if I could buy this, have some fun for a little, and sell it down the road I see no problem splurging. Any links to threads already existing would be awesome. All i know about these cars is that I've wanted one ever since my friend had one in highschool (2005). Thanks in advance everyone! Hopefully I'll be part of the club soon!

Substantially modded low mileage 19 year Z32 for $6K with owner who says the car is immaculate inside and out is NOT the kind of deal you want to get into without a lot of probing. To begin with, there are no immaculate Z32s that will sell for $6K, period. There are lots of broken Z32s that will sell for that price, even the non turbo models. I would ask for pics, details on mods that were done, problems and whatever else you can think of. Frankly, I won't buy this one. It just does not sound right.
