Well, I finally done it. Also, finally registered to Zdriver. Btw, great place... Lots of resources here. Anyways, here's the deal..for the past 11 months I had restored a 1993 n/a 5 speed Z. It was super white with the tan leather interior. I fell in love with these cars many years ago and just happen to get (Sasha) the 300z at a bargain.

I bought her in really bad shape, needing a good owner I took her on. I spent the rest of the time getting it back into shape, then getting it running correctly. As a mechanic this wasn't an issue, but boy the body work was! At last I was done.. 3 weeks ago I ran into a guy that couldn't live without her. So, I sold her.. While on the hunt for a new one I ran across what I have now. A 1991 Aztec red, 300zxTT. It's in amazing shape. I am pulling the engine this Tuesday and going through it. It does have some mileage on it but these cars are getting hard to find. I was eventually going to swap my old Z to a TT but was always on the hunt for a TT. Anyway, I'm curious, how many of you guys have swapped cars? I know alot of work goes into the swaps, but I'm guessing the TT cars aren't as plentiful as they once were.

 

Haha, I call mine Layla. No TT swap, yet anyway. Still working on that whole body work part. Rocker panels and rear fender rust remediation and I'm done. Already got Kaminari skirts and rear fender flares, just have to cut out the cancer and put them on. Can't wait to put some wide rear wheels on after the flares
