Here the short story. my Z has been deadline for close to two years now. got another used engine since i threw a rod from my original. finnally got around to droppin my engine in this past saturday. i still have my alternator, starter, ac compressor, power stearing pump to put on along with all the vacum hoses and wiring harness. the problem that i would like to make simple is putting back to gether my wiring harness and vacum hoses. would any have any type of pictures or something that could help me out?

also... you shoulda marked the harness.. i always mar anything and everything i unplug so i never confuse my self like that haha

 

yea i know that know. back then na, it was my first time taking out an engine. does the manual have the diagrams for the vacum hoses too?

 

only one way to find out its the FSM it should have everything...

 

The wiring harness shouldn't be that difficult. Just lay it over the top of the engine and it's pretty easyl. Each connector is slightly different, so it's not likely that you'll get them mixed up. It's pretty easy to tell which wires go to which injectors and which wires go to which coil packs because of the specific lengths.

The vacuum hose diagram can be found in the factory service manual.
