I'm considering getting a Z32 2+2 as an extra car, but when I check Craigslist, I only see 2+2's with automatic transmissions. Did they ever come with manual trannies?

 

yes. i promise. i personally know of one in the same town as me. almost bought it. but he decided to keep it. plus hes a drug dealer i believe. but meh

 

I've heard there was a climate control option on the Z32's as well; I trust this was something just as available on the 2+2's as the 2-seaters?

 

no clue, think they all had it, my 90 early year 90 had an auto temp and fan control on it as well as heated mirrors (which actually help alot) and more luxuries than any other car ive personally owned so far. doubt they would change anything other than the length and seating capacity of the 2+2 the less thats changed the more money thats saved in production costs

 

As far as I know the only thing that the 2+2 didn't have as an option in the US was Twin Turbo. Most of the Z cars in their highest trim had far more luxuries than any other cars.

Yes, I drive a 5spd 2+2 1991. A previous poster was correct... the 2+2's offered the same options offered in the 2 seat NA's. Good luck in you search... just be aware that even though it's a 2 + 2, it would be better called a 2 +1/2. the back seat is essentially useless for all but the youngest children.

 

or one person sitting sideways isn't bad.

 

According to my cousin, 2+2 had everything but TT, and after 1990, they took out manual climate controls, except on convertibles

 

I use mine for groceries...one bag each or a gallon of milk.
