So I decided to take a friend out and launch my car and an odd thing happened. I pressed the clutch in for 2nd and after releasing the clutch pedal the car held in the clutch pedal about 50% of the way in. I kept the power on to see if it would do it in third; clutched in for 3rd and the same thing happened.

After the second time I released the throttle and noticed the clutch release slowly and consistently.

Dropped off the passenger and we both noticed the clutch burn smell, car drop normally after that. This has happened one time before during high clutch load, but oddly enough I floor through corners with no issues. Seems to happen only on launching clutch load times.

Hmmm new to z's but is this a tt were talking about? If so it has the vac assistedclutch which might have something to do with it? Idk might be something to look into.

 

I think id start by flushing the line.

Bad or failing master?

 

nope not a twin turbo, completely stock, as far as engine goes. But dam I just realized I post in the 300 zx section, so I noobed.......2006 350z.
