Buying a 1989 300zx
Hi
I am thinking about importing a 300zx 2+2 TT from Japan via an import website.
What I want to know is: are the 89 any good. The car usually have around 55,000 miles on the clock and go for about $AUST 9000 ($ US 6700). Which seems pretty go, as they sell for about $AUST 16000 ($US 12000) through a private seller. I can't import a younger model due to legislation preventing the importation of cars younger than 15 years by individuals.
Any help and advice would be much appreciated .

Check here for general info on the Z's. Some info on early Z production problems, although I don't know if any of that applies to the jdm models considering that they were in production and available longer there.
