Am I lucky or what?
Am I lucky or what?
Don't mean to brag guys, I'm just a happy camper right now.
Ok... so I work at a Newspaper, right? My friend, an editor.. er.. director, or something, got a new position in Washington. Just before this, another friend got a position in Chicago. The friend going to Chicago gave the friend going to Washington a good deal on his SUV.
Still with me?...
The friend that is going to Washington that got the SUV also happens to own a 1991 300zx. I've always loved Z cars, and so, I asked what he was doing with his in the move, since he has a new car. He said he was thinking about parting ways with it. I told him how much I loved the car and the only reason I never owned one was because I bought an IROC-Z before I got the chance. "How much would you sell it for?", I ask, fully expecting him to say something like 5,000 which I would not be able to afford at this time.
He said... "You can have it."
I just picked it up Friday and cruised around with the t-tops off over the weekend. Like I said, it's a '91, but it only has 79,000 miles on it. Something is wrong with the steering. He thinks it's a complicated problem like CV joints or the entire rack-and-pinion setup but, my unprofessional opinion is that it's just the power steering pump.
Either way, I got a 300zx in really good condition for FREE!
So, I ask again, am I lucky, or what?
