aiv making a really annoying noise. Probably water in it. Will drilling a hole to drain out the water cause an exhaust leak. Neeed a quick fix for it

Why would water be in the aiv?

I dont really know either I did a lot of searching around on other 300Zx fourm and they tell me that when the aiv makes a werid gurgling noise from the inside the fenders where the aiv are located. Is because there water inside of it and it should fix the problem when you drill a hole on the U shape hose that connects to the valve to drain out the condensation that occurs in it
