Hey, i am new to this site and i have been looking at Z's for a while to purchase. Anyway i test drove a 96 5spd today and with 70k on it and there was a strange amount of play in the shifter. It actually would lift up approx 1 inch. When it wasnt lifted up it you feel the vibration of the gears when going into 2nd and 4th. I might buy this car but not if this is something serious so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Kev.
