Hello all first post here. I recently bought a non-running 1991 300zx. The previous owner partially disassembled the engine bay in an attempt to remove the egr equipment and lost interest. I am going to be doing some re-assembly in the near future but am taking car of a few smaller things In the meantime.

Up until yesterday all the lights worked. Turning on the headlights was always odd, as it seemed like there was a special combination you had to move the key/switches in to get them to come on, and sometimes you would have to fiddle with them to get the lights on.

Today I was looking into this oddity and now the lights will not come on at all. The most I got was a brief flash of the high beam light and that’s it.

So, condition:
-All interior lights work Including the dash
-All outside market lights work including taillights
-Headlights/Highbeams and fog lights do not work
-One fog light has been out since I bought the car

Troubleshooting so far:
-All fuses checked good
-Battery fully charged
-Headlight relay swapped out for security relay, no change
-Headlight relay clicks when switch is turned on/off
-High beam relay clicks when high beam switch is moved
-Fusable links near battery look good

So far no luck. With my engine partially disassembled the engine bay is a mess of wires, connectors and vacuum lines but from what I can see everything is hooked up. Not sure where to go from here. The lights were finicky but worked and now will not work at all. The car has not moved. Trying to trace a wiring diagram but it’s challenging on this car. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
