What needs to be moded for the Skyline brake upgrade
I've never sold a set but had a customer call the other day wanting to buy a set. I know its pretty much a bolt up and not really any mods needed except one.. And it has something to do with fitting the OEM wheels over the caliper or something like that.
So does anyone here have the stock wheels and is running this brake setup?

I don't have it but from my understanding, the caliper mounting bracket is supposed to be made in such a way as to not have any clearance issues with the stock rims. At least that's what I've always read about this particular brake upgrade.

so was I, but then we got the new layout, started working, Site looks pretty good now i must say. Good job guys. It was fun here back when Emo and 91zxtt and Nismo were on all the time, and other guys too. it was like a cyber hangout for z32 drivers. What is Emo driving now since his tt got crushed?? He's a good guy, but he's been having some tough luck

oh yeah, forgot about Emo's accident. That could be a good reason why we haven't heard from him. He's probably not wanting to reminesce about his accident.
I know Nismo's been busy with his job and other stuff.
91zxtt on the other hand....I dunno.

I'm baaaack! Nice to see I was missed.
The Skyline brake kit is a direct bolt-on. No modifications needed. It fits under the stock wheels. It's actually a fairly simple job. If you're doing that job, then install the stainless brake lines also.
As for my absence....my job and the new house have been keeping me busy. Plus, no more DSL. There's no DSL service out where we live, so things are really slow. I wind up viewing this site from work, but I've been really busy.
I have a new addition to my garage now..... 2 weeks ago I bought an '04 Chevy Silverado Z71. 5.3 liter, 4x4, 4 door (jump doors), 17" wheels, XM radio, onstar, tow package, Bose stereo, running board. This thing has everything except for leather. 2 days after I bought it, I had a Gibson cat-back exhaust, an S&P hi-flow air-intake and a spray-on bedliner installed. The Z71 and the 300ZX looks damn good sitting next to each other in the garage. The ZX has become my weekend driver. Since i don't drive it everyday I may finally be able to install the downpipes, test pipes, clutch. flywheel and driveshaft. I'll also convert to the ASHSPEC chip and install a PROFEC B boost controller.

Not to hijack the thread, but emo is pretty busy. Talked to him the 14th while I was out on the coast. Tried to hook up for lunch, but his work wouldn't let him off when we went thru Salinas. Think his new GF requires about as much time as his Z did and he has the 240Z he's working on. Hasn't answered the last e-mail I sent him so guess he's staying real tied up.

Hey guys. sorry, I haven't been on in quite a while, I know. Rizz has got the right picture, it sucks to think about it. I'm driving a 240z right now, I was gonna do the V8 swap, but don't hav ehte time and feel bad messing with such an original 240z, so it's for sale now. i'll prolly end up wiht a z31 turbo or syclone or somethin glike that. tnkrstoyco, sorry I haven't replied to your email yet. I have been stupid busy, so busy, I'm starting to get sick. I'll write you an email right after this, since work is slowing down a little today. i'll try to come back on this site every once in a while. thanks for missing me guys.
