Shocks/Struts Replacement

Hi all,

So I recently purchased a 91 Z32 TT. My state requires yearly state inspections and I just got the bad news that I the rear shocks are leaking and need replaced. I'm not surprised being 30+ years old. Anyway, coming from the subaru world, I am new to the Nissan thing. From what I can tell the OEM shocks for the TT cars are super expensive vs the NA ones. I'm assuming because of the electronic adjustable system? So, I am looking for advice on what to do. Do I bite the bullet and just replace the shocks with OEM ones or do I upgrade to aftermarket and lose the ability to adjust the shocks from the control panel inside the car? I'm not going to track the car in any way. I just wanted something to drive and have fun. I don't necessarily want/need coilovers, but if they are cheaper than the OEM ones, then that is probably what I would go with. What are your thoughts? Again, only looking to drive the car with some spirited driving. Thanks
