R230 questions

R230 questions

i put a R230 form a Z32 TT into my S30 just wondering if anyone had been able to break one yet? or does anyone know how strong they are looking to jump up to 700hp wondering if the diff,axles,wheel bearings can handle the abuse thanks for any/all help

There are people in the 1k's with the r230 and the r200 has been in drag cars in the 7's. You'll be fine.

So no problems with axles/wheel bearings? I wonder how they had theres mounted to handle 1000HP?

axles on the diff side have broken before, but it's not common. solid diff/subframe bushings for mounts. You have to remember the z32TT's have a pretty solid subframe to mount to. I wouldn't waste the weight in an s30 though, the R200's are plenty strong and weigh probably 50 pounds less.
