Nexen Tires

I did a search, but it turned up nothing on nexen tires. I found what appears to be a good deal on ebay, link below, but searching online only produced limited info. I don't race my Z or drive it daily so keep that in mind for my needs. Thanks for any help.

The 2 or 3 limited reviews I've been able to read in various forums, mind you its just someones opnion, seem to make this inexpensive performance tire be the holy grail of good deals. I also have priced kumhos being more expensive from the tire rack. I could not find rating system like the tirerack has to see how well they rate.

Here's the link to the kumho's on tirerack:

If I thought it was a good idea I wouldn't have asked for help.

you do know that...

those are retreads right? meaning those are not "new" tires the tread is the second generation on that tire. That is why they are cheap.

Truck tires get retreaded all the time but the sidewalls in them are pretty thick and don't wear much at all. Sport car tires are made to be light and usually the sides only have 2-3 layers meaning NOT durable.

They might be high quality retreads but they are still second hand tires.

did your T1-R's come siped?? i didn't notice when they put them on, but after driving a while, the sipes have opened up. i did not request siping, so if it is not standard, i might go back and bitch at the tire shop for a new set, as it could potentially decrease tread life .
