Kyb/eibach reinstall questions

1) First I'm trying to confirm so information, in relation to eibach springs, the -1 are for the front correct?

2) When installing all the hardward to the kyb shocks, I know that the bump stop goes underneath the dust boot. Is it free floating or does it connect to the insulator mounting bracket? I'm really just curious about its purpose for knowledge sake.

I have installed the kyb/eibach combo on my front passenger side completed, I want to make sure that I have everything correct before I move forward. Thanks guys.

From the factory, the bump stop is attatched to the insulator mounting bracket, however, it makes no difference. It won't make noise if it's free-floating, and it'll serve it's purpose no matter where it is (as long as it's installed, obviously).

And yes, the 01 springs go in front, 02 in rear.

If you were to slam a bump in the road SUPER hard and your shock were to compress all the way to the bump stop, it'd absorb the impact and protect your strut. It essentially protects your strut from "bottoming out."
